You know how hard it is to find a decent hospital outside the big cities? Well, Hapur got lucky. (Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences), SIMS as locals call it, opened in 2008 and honestly changed everything for people living in western UP.
Dr. J. Ramachandran started this place with a simple thought – why should good healthcare be so expensive? His trust, Saraswathi Ammal Educational and Charitable Trust, built SIMS on 26 acres in Anwarpur village. It's right on NH-24, about an hour from Delhi. Started with 100 medical students, now they take 250 every year.
