What it definitely reminded me of, however, is  RL Trading that that is weirdly close to the unique path that the Rocket League builders were taking. Rocket League is a sequel: its predecessor, the lamentably named Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars, was quite tons the identical recreation in multiplayer, but hadn't set the world alight.

There are numerous motives for this: the controls, the cultured, the PS3 exclusivity, the emphasis on singleplayer. Psyonix knew it had something though, and Battle Cars 2 (because it was then known as) might aim to improve on this.

The initial ideas, but, went in a few unusual instructions. First, there has been an open world where gamers might need to RL Prices power round and enter stadia to play a suit. I interviewed a number of Rocket League's creatives in 2016 about this, which might be why Fortnite's new addition seems like some approximation of the Rocket League we in no way got.
