Before the Ashes 2025–26, Australia's Josh Hazlewood, a fast bowler, saluted England's batting depth, calling their lineup "unbelievable" and a serious challenge to Australia's home dominance. According to Hazlewood, England's aggressive batting strategy under Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum will present a new challenge when the historic series kicks off in Perth on November 21, 2025.
Hazelwood Said On the Speaker
Hazelwood said to the speaker on 28 August, he said that “They’ve built an unbelievable line-up. The depth they’ve got now is probably the strongest I’ve seen in a while. It’ll be exciting to see how they approach Australian conditions,”.
England Batting Line-up
Under the leadership of captain Ben Stokes, England's batting order has outstanding players like Joe Root, Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, and Jonny Bairstow. With the explosive power of Ben Duckett and the up-and-coming young players who excelled during the Bazball era, England seems ready to face Australia's strong bowling assault.
